Sew Right began 27 years ago when two friends decided to create a place where they could share their love of beautiful fabrics with friends old and new. Our friendly, fun staff continues that tradition today. We share your love of quilting. We love to exchange ideas, enthusiasm, and know how. Our staff ranges in age from 70 to 17 and we reflect the interests and experience of all ages in between. Sewing, fabric, and great customer service are our passion!

We carry a wide selection of quilting cottons from Riley Blake, Moda, Michael Miller, Benartex, Maywood Studios and more.  In addition to the latest quilting tools and notions, we also support our stock of hemstitching and stitchery patterns with  DMC perle cotton and embroidery floss.

 

Another continuing Sew Right tradition is our schedule of sewing classes for adults and youth ages 8 and up. We are teaching our third generation of sew-ers, helping quilters share their passion with daughters, sons, grand-sons and grand-daughters.

We are conveniently located in the Evergreen Plaza at the mouth of Parley's Canyon, just two blocks from  I-80 East.  Our address is            2037 East 3300 South

Sew Right Fabrics

Sew Right Fabrics, located at 2037 East 3300 South, is more than just a fabric shop. Sure, we sell the best-quality quilting fabric and supplies, but hidden inside this family-owned and operated shop is a community that is passionate about creativity, sewing and customer service. For more than 27 years, Sew Right Fabrics has been a familiar name in the Millcreek area.

Sew Right Fabrics has a variety of classes to appeal to any quilter, from beginners to more advanced.

Classes include the use of onsite sewing machines, irons, cutting tables, cutting tools and white thread. Youth classes, for children 8 years old and up, are limited to seven students and feature two instructors to give students the attention and instruction they need.

In addition to youth classes, Sew Right Fabrics also has a variety of adult classes. The All You Can Sew Club gives quilters the chance to get help with projects of their choice and spend time with other quilters for as little as $45 a month, or $5 an hour.

Our goal is not to live forever, but to create something that will.
